Ascent of the Copper Dragon

It’s 4 am here in Utah, and as you can probably tell, the book’s release date is going to get pushed back slightly from the original date.

I had some observations from a few late beta readers that the politics in this book could be perceived in an unsavory light due to some real life humanitarian crisis happening around the world right now.

I deeply oppose some of these events, and since I decided to write from the POV of a powerful house compared to a lesser house, it is important to me to fix this. So, I am making some more last minute minor changes. I know I won’t be able to make it perfect, but at the end of the day I want to write a story I’m comfortable releasing.

I hate this delay more than I can express and I hate that it’s so last minute again. I am going to take a few hours to sleep and write up an email for everyone with some options for refunds (bc a second delay is wild, trust me, I know) on preorders or some goodies to make it up to everyone or something.

It’s coming! I promise! I am simply an anxiety riddled human being, and I will be until I get this right.

Also, Smut and Sip is working with me in getting a few more Special Editions. I am hoping to have 30-50 copies, so if you emailed me about it before, I have you on a list and I will be reaching out as soon as I can to see if you still want one. They are $50 plus shipping.

My Microsoft Word has kicked me out for the evening, so I will post those promised chapters in a few hours after a short nap.
